This Privacy Policy describes how Dubs ("Dubs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Dubs application and the dubs.md website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. We collect the content you add to the Service — such as documents, links, text, notes, and audio recordings — and information you submit directly, such as your name and email address if you join our waitlist or contact us.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we collect certain information automatically, including device and account identifiers used to operate your account, your settings and preferences, usage information such as playback position and basic product interaction events, and push notification tokens if you enable notifications.

Website analytics. Our website uses privacy-preserving analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views, referrers, and country). This analytics service does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your content, or your entire account and all associated data, at any time from within the app. Some generated or cached files may be deleted automatically when they have not been used for a period of time. Waitlist information is kept until you get access or ask to be removed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

You can access, update, or delete your content in the app, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port it. To exercise any of these rights, or to be removed from the waitlist, contact us at hello@dubs.md.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
